Small Mac annoyances, fixed in one window.
Pinvu is an always-on-top notepad for Mac. It keeps notes, spreadsheets and slides pinned above your apps, including full-screen presentations and video calls. It includes Invisible Mode, Google Calendar with one-click Meet links, and an assistant that uses your existing Claude or ChatGPT plan.

Pinned above everything
Keep it in view while you work everywhere else.
Floats over full-screen Keynote, PowerPoint, Zoom and browsers
Follows you across Spaces and displays
Tuck it to a small edge icon; one click brings it back
How pinning works
Click the pin and the note stays above every other window, including apps in full-screen mode, and follows you when you switch Spaces or move to another display. Apple Notes’ Keep on Top and Stickies don’t float over full-screen apps; Pinvu does. When you need the room, tuck the note into a small floating icon at the edge of the screen and drag it wherever you like. Open two notes side by side in split view, and keep reading notes, checklists or a script in view while you present, code or browse.

Invisible in meetings
Your notes stay on your side of the call.
One click hides Pinvu from screen shares and recordings
Meeting timer with agenda checkpoints
Link the transcript to the note: Meet, .vtt, .srt or .txt
How Invisible Mode works
Share your whole screen in Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams without hiding anything first. Turn on Invisible Mode with the eye in the toolbar, and Pinvu asks macOS to leave its windows out of screen shares, screenshots and recordings, while you still see them. Use it as a private teleprompter for speaker notes, interview questions or a sales script. The meeting timer counts down agenda checkpoints so you finish on time, and you can link the meeting transcript to the note for later.
Invisible Mode is best effort. A few recording tools ignore it, so run a 10-second test call first.

Google Calendar for Mac
The Google Calendar app Mac never got.
Your Google calendars in a native window
Create events with a Google Meet link in one click
Open a meeting and start its note right away
Why not just use a browser tab?
Google doesn’t make a Google Calendar desktop app for Mac, so most people keep a browser tab open or sync it into Apple Calendar. Pinvu shows your Google calendars natively, next to your notes. Create or edit events, add a Google Meet link with one click, and start a note for the meeting without hunting through tabs.

AI without another subscription
Ask “what did we agree on?” and get an answer.
Summaries, action items and rewrites from your note and transcript
Runs on the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already have
No API keys, no extra AI fee
How the assistant works
The built-in assistant reads the open note and any linked transcript. It answers questions, pulls out action items, tightens your writing and can edit the note for you. It connects to Claude or to Codex with your ChatGPT plan, running from your Mac under your own account. Requests go straight to your provider and never through our servers. If you don’t use AI, everything else works without it.
Video coming soonAsk for action items from a linked transcript; they’re written into the note.
Every file, one window
Notes, sheets and slides, without the app juggling.
Edit CSV and Excel (.xlsx) files in place
Build slides; present or export to PowerPoint and PDF
Plain files on your Mac, with optional Google Drive sync
What file types it opens
Pinvu opens Markdown notes with highlights, checklists and templates; CSV and Excel spreadsheets you can edit and save back to the same file; slides you can present or export to PowerPoint and PDF; and previews of Word and PowerPoint files. There’s no import step, no blank workbook and no converted copy. Everything is an ordinary file in a folder you choose, and you can sync it with Google Drive.

Questions
Is there a Google Calendar app for Mac?
Google doesn’t make a Google Calendar desktop app for Mac. The usual options are a browser tab or adding your account to Apple Calendar. Pinvu shows your Google Calendar in a native Mac window beside your notes, and creates events with a Google Meet link in one click.
How do I keep a note on top of other windows, even full-screen apps?
Apple Notes’ Keep on Top works only in separate note windows and doesn’t cover full-screen apps. Pin a note in Pinvu and it stays above every app, including full-screen slides and video calls, on every Space and display.
How do I hide my notes from Zoom, Google Meet or Teams when I share my screen?
Click the eye to turn on Invisible Mode. Pinvu asks macOS to leave its windows out of screen shares, screenshots and recordings, and you still see them. A few recording tools ignore this, so do a quick test call first.
How can I read speaker notes while presenting without the audience seeing them?
Pin your notes in Pinvu over the full-screen presentation and turn on Invisible Mode. You read them while sharing; the audience sees only your slides.
How do I open a CSV on a Mac without Excel or Numbers?
Open the .csv in Pinvu. It appears as a table you can edit, and saves straight back to the same file, with no import dialog, blank workbook or converted copy. Excel .xlsx files open too.
How does the AI assistant work?
The assistant connects to the Claude or ChatGPT (Codex) plan you already have. Requests go from your Mac to the provider under your account.
Where are my notes stored? Is it private?
Your notes are plain files in a folder on your Mac, with optional Google Drive sync. We have no servers that receive your notes, calendar or transcripts, and there are no analytics or trackers. Read the privacy policy.
I lost my license key. How do I get it back?
Use Find my purchase. Enter the email you bought with and we’ll send your key and download link again.
What if it’s not for me?

Which Macs does it run on?
